Classical Music Contests

At Sapta Svara we strive to see, every Talented Singer/Musician gets the right platform to showcase their talent and reach greater heights. Participate in SaptaSvara’s easy online contests at the regular basis and Win Amazing Prizes.

Contestants can perform any one of the following:

1. Carnatic Music
2. Hindustani Music
3. Folk/Devotional/Regional Music
4. Classical Dance

Filmi/Cinema Music or Film Dance performances are strictly not allowed.

Performances will be showcased on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and other Social Media channels for the world to see, and visitors response (likes, shares,.. etc) from social media will be a major factor for winning prizes.

Judges and Social media audience will decide winners from all contests.

Age Groups: 

Contestants are classified into 4 Age Groups.

1. Little Soldiers: 0 – 4 Years
2. Sub Juniors : 4 – 10 Years
3. Juniors: 10 – 16 Years
4. Seniors: 16 and Above Years
   

Rules for Participation:

    1. Participants can use electronic music instruments if they wish (while singing and dancing)

    2. No Copy Righted Song/Lyric/Material allowed.

    3. No Film Songs/Music/Dance performances allowed.

    4. Only Devotional/Folksongs from old films are allowed.

    5. Parody Songs are allowed as long as they are family friendly.

    6. Each Participant can perform/submit multiple times if they wish, however, each participant is allowed to get only one prize. Stats from a highly performed video will be considered for the prize.

    7. Little Soldiers (Age Group 0 to 4 years) are allowed to perform as they wish, even cute gestures or whatever sounds they make or whatever moves they make cutely can be submitted as performance. Chanting Rhymes and Poems also allowed for this category.

    8. Judges will give 50% Marks and Social Media Audience will give another 50% Marks for selecting winners.

    9. Judges decision will be final and can’t be contested.

   10. All videos/music uploaded/Recorded/Submitted for the contest will be a property of saptasvara.com.

How to Participate:

    1.  Participants can Register using Registration form provided here.

    2.  Parents of little soldiers are allowed to upload Video/Music file using the form provided here. (After creating your free account sign in and click video submission link again). Little Soldiers need to mention Name, Date of Birth, Parents Details, Contact No in the description field. Use form provided here

    3.  Junior/Senior Participants needs to perform live on YouTube hangouts.
